Michael Graves “Jewel Box” In SOMA

It’s not often that a world-renowned architect designs an office building so unique and rare that it truly is deserving of the title “one of a kind.” Yet that is exactly what has happened right in San Francisco’s SOMA district.
Architect Michael Graves has created a little “jewel box” of a building at 772 Bryant Street. Graves designed the building in 2004 to the specs and vision of photographers G. K. and Vikki Hart. The building was Graves' first Bay Area design project since the famous Clos Pegase Winery in Napa, which was completed in 1987.
The plan was to design a space that took advantage of natural light and offered touches of elegance for the discriminating buyer. The focus was to create a “boutique” building with unique finishes that would allow any user to display their own style within Graves’ design.
The three-story building, at the corner of Bryant & Morris, offers 6,000 feet of fully appointed office space with secure interior parking. The building is priced at $4,950,000.
